Having lived in Huddersfield all of my life, I moved away in 2002 to complete a degree in Management and Business Economics at the University of Hull. This prepared me well in my journey as a manager, having worked across several areas in the NHS including urgent care, planned care and lastly primary care where I found my true passion in healthcare. I have recently joined Elmwood in October 2018 and feel very lucky to work in such a fantastic practice which puts patients at the heart of everything. I am married with 2 young children which takes up most (if not all!) of my spare time.

                                                                      • Wendy Garside
                                                                          Wendy Garside Finance Manager

I joined the team at Elmwood Family Doctors in July 2010 and I really enjoy working here.  My role has grown over the years as it is a large practice and covers two sites (since April 2016). The whole team work well together to provide excellent patient care in a pleasant environment.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter.  I also enjoy reading, drawing, keeping fit and a glass of Prosecco or two with friends!
