Musculoskeletal Service
Available at the Princess Royal Health Centre and Holme Valley Memorial Hospital, although a Community Physiotherapist treats housebound patients at home.

Community Midwives
Community midwives and maternity support workers deliver your antenatal and postnatal care in the community and are on call for homebirths and to support the Birth Centres. Community midwifery is usually your first contact when your pregnancy is confirmed.

Health Visitors
Specially trained nurses who give advice on health to all the family, with a particular interest in babies and young children and promoting good health. The Health Visiting service is provided by Locala.

School Nurses
Work with children and young people to promote a healthy and happy lifestyle. Providing a link between school, health services and home they offer routine screenings and individual advice and support.
