Major refurbishment works have started at Elmwood Health Centre today (29th March 2016) with likely completion by December 2016. Whilst the work will inevitably have some impact day to day, we hope to keep disruption to services to a minimum. When disruption is unavoidable we would please ask you to be as understanding as possible as the long term benefits to all will be worthwhile.
The work will be in four phases and each phase will involve the sealing off of whole areas of the building to staff, patients and visitors.
PHASE 1 STARTING 29TH MARCH
This phase involves the closure of the first floor clinical corridor for approximately 7 weeks. Any patients attending the following clinics will be seen in rooms on the Ground Floor:
Counselling services (Christine Pollard)
Lifeline (Linda Deacon)
IAPT Service (Margaret Holmes)
Private Podiatry Clinic (Natasha Miller)
Health Trainer service (Louise Tully)
Private Physiotherapy Clinic (Craig Coulson)
Novus Hearing Tests
Spire Eye Clinic – Mr Davey
Spire Outpatient Consultant Clinics
Please check at Reception when you attend your appointment for any of the above clinics and they will advise you where to wait.
Future phasing and news related to the refurbishment will be made available at the Health Centre and on the Elmwood Family Doctors website and social media pages. Please share this exciting news with your family members and friends to update everyone.
